Biga Pizza’s take-out expansion transformed a former tattoo parlor into a dedicated kitchen and pick-up location, increasing capacity and helping the team serve more of Missoula’s favorite pizza.
Working with MMW Architects and Morrison Maierle Engineering, the project opened up the space for a free-span commercial kitchen anchored by a new Wood Stone Fire Deck oven. Kitchen upgrades included a new mechanical dishwasher, improved workflow, and quarry tile floors installed during off-hours so the main restaurant could continue operating through construction.
The project also brought care to the spaces beyond the kitchen, including polished concrete floors, custom point-of-sale casework, and a refreshed basement employee area with laundry, lockers, and changing facilities. Sandblasted stainless steel cladding, lava stone tile, mahogany windows, and signature neon signage connect the new take-out space back to the established Biga brand.
