The original James Bar build-out helped shape the Missoula staple people have come to know and love.

Completed in 2007 with MMW Architects, the project created a warm, restaurant-forward space with booth seating, a straight bar, rich wood tones, and a cozier dining experience. The design balanced the energy of a downtown bar with the comfort of a place built for food, conversation, and long nights out.

Years later, we had the opportunity to return for a full remodel, helping the space evolve into its next chapter.
