The John R. Toole House is one of Missoula’s most recognizable historic homes, built in 1902 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Our work focused on the home’s exterior restoration, including siding replacement, restoration of the north-facing porch, replacement of deteriorated finish work, and detailed exterior window trim throughout the home.
The project required careful attention to the home’s historic character, preserving the scale, rhythm, and architectural presence that make the property such an important part of Missoula’s University District.
The finished work went on to receive a historic preservation award, recognizing the care taken to restore and protect one of Missoula’s landmark residences.
Historic homes like this deserve thoughtful stewardship. If you’re considering work on the John R. Toole House or another historic Missoula home, we’d be glad to start the conversation.
