Missoula Wine Merchants opened in 2015 as a downtown specialty wine shop with a strong focus on personal service, wine education, and a carefully selected inventory.

For the original build-out, the interior was shaped around custom shelving, reclaimed materials, and a warmer retail experience. Black steel piping and Ward fittings created a durable shelving system with an industrial feel, while reclaimed wood and corrugated steel brought texture and depth to the space.

Lighting was used to highlight product areas and give the shop a more intimate feel, pairing with the bold interior palette and dense bottle displays.

In 2022, we returned to expand the shelving system with matching units and additional reclaimed material, helping the new work blend naturally with the original installation.
