Our future headquarters is more than a new place for the Scariano Construction team to work. It is an opportunity to invest in a part of Missoula we believe in and create a building that contributes to the neighborhood around it.
Designed by MMW Architects, the project gives new life to an existing brick warehouse along the Milwaukee Trail. The building will become home to our team while also creating space for a café and three commercial kitchens, including two in the basement and one serving the café upstairs. Those kitchens create something Missoula has relatively little of: flexible, purpose-built commercial food space that can support local operators, makers, and small businesses.
The architecture balances what is already here with what comes next. Existing brick and exposed wood framing are carried into the new space alongside steel, glass, abundant natural light, and a restrained material palette. The result feels connected to the building’s industrial history without trying to recreate it.
That same thinking extends beyond the headquarters itself. Along with our planned residential project at Bissinger Place, this is part of a larger investment in this pocket of Missoula and in the kind of places we want to help build: thoughtful, useful, and connected to the people around them.
We are proud to be building a headquarters for Scariano, but even more excited about creating a place that has a life beyond our own walls.
