This Rattlesnake Valley farmhouse renovation transformed a large but outdated 1980s home into a warmer, more modern family property with 2,000 square feet of added living space.
Working with architects, interior design professionals, and landscapers, the project reshaped the home around comfort, views, and daily use. Inside, a steel and white oak staircase and 16-foot living room windows bring a more open, contemporary feel while framing the valley beyond.
Outside, the work extended into the landscape with a custom swinging daybed built from steel, reclaimed fir, custom upholstery, and hemp rope. The project also expanded the garden and added outbuildings for the family’s chickens, goats, and donkeys.
