A former bar and boxing gym in downtown Missoula was converted into modern professional offices while preserving the character of the pre-WWII building.

Completed in 1997 with MMW Architects, the renovation uncovered original brick through hand-chiseled plaster work and restored the building’s original fir floors after removing three layers of flooring. Salvaged timber was used to shape the conference area, while etched glass sliding doors, ornamental iron hardware, custom millwork, and custom doors brought a more refined finish to the space.

The result is a downtown office renovation that keeps the building’s older materials visible while giving it a clean, professional second life.
